Tim writes for both Mobile Networks Insider and Cable Industry Insider. He has previously covered the wireless and cable industries for a number of research firms, including Heavy Reading, Current Analysis, iGillott Research, and Probe Research. He has authored white papers on topics such as telemetry, EDGE, over-the-air firmware upgrades, and 802.11 for several vendors and trade associations. Tim has also covered RF and SS7 engineering, cellular/PCS, LMDS, MMDS, and free-space optics for magazines such as Wireless Review, The Net Economy, Laptop, Mobile Enterprise, and Tech Edge.
